El presente manual aborda de manera integral y exhaustiva la atención quirúrgica en niños con patologías diversas. Se ha puesto especial énfasis en garantizar calidad y seguridad en la atención, así como en la inclusión de enfoques acordes a las necesidades cambiantes del entorno mexicano. Con capítulos que abarcan desde fundamentos quirúrgicos pediátricos hasta técnicas avanzadas y procedimientos especializados, este recurso se convierte en un aliado indispensable para todos aquellos involucrados en el manejo de pacientes pediátricos con necesidades quirúrgicas. El texto busca elevar los estándares de la cirugía pediátrica en nuestro país y seguir mejorando la salud y calidad de vida de los más pequeños.
